INFIDELS, THRILLS AND SPILLS part 1

Policewoman: Sorry?
Barry: You’re learning?
Abu Abdullah: So you didn’t
know? You’ve been here for 15 months and you didn’t know…
Barry: Well you don’t
see many women here do you?
Abu Abdullah: Well the explanation
for that is…er…obviously a man gets feelings for a woman,
so when you touch you can get turned on…but I’m a married
man and…
Barry: You don’t get
feelings.
Abu Abdullah: Erm…I’m
going to need a little bit more time to get back to you..
Barry: I can see you any
time…It’s a question of what you mean when you say you need
more time.
Abu Abdullah: As of now,
I can’t tell the worshipers blah blah it’s like this..It
don’t work like that.
Barry: Well I’m relaxed
about all of that…All I’ve said to you all along is that
there might come a time when, if we are not making any progress towards
a solution then we might have to force the issue a bit. But lets hope
it doesn’t come to that.
Abu Abdullah: Well. We’re
hoping it doesn’t but to be honest, with respect..erm…from
our point of view even though our sheik has been taken away…obviously
he’s the man that gave the advice and obviously he was very well
educated to give the best of advice and we took the advice…erm…but
he has now been taken away from us.
But that doesn’t mean that really from our point
of view that we’ve become weaker or in any way with the utmost
respect to you that you’re not really dealing with people again
that are like children. compared to the Sheik. We’re his students
but… we have to make a decision
Barry: Sure
Abu Abdullah: And again
from my point of view concerning the worshippers I’ve got to make
the best decision for the worshippers.
Barry: Absolutely. I’ve
not treated you like a child have I?
Abu Abdullah: No. no. Not
at all. I didn’t mean that in a disrespectful manner.
Barry: Of course. Of course.
Well look I’m available to see you any evening….erm…I’m
very busy during the day most days next week..but I would like to talk
some more about it before another weeks gone by. So, you know how to
get hold of me don’t you?
Abu Abdullah: Of course.
Of course. If the worst did come to the worst. You may have to make
some kind of arrests…when I say some kind of arrests…erm….its
something that we believe in and something that we believe in its very,
very difficult for us to walk away from if we’re going to be arrested
or bullied by whoever the government sends down on top of our ‘eads.
I think the British public as well as the government
should be addressing the issue more delicately instead of forcing you
to force your hand.
Barry: Just, just a bit
of feedback on what you’ve said…Mr. Abdullah…from
my perspective…I don’t expect you to necessarily, you know,
believe me but from my perspective, there’s no pressure on me.
It’s up to me. I’m the police commander round here. And…I
don’t want to, in any way end up with us having to make lots of
arrests and all of the huge disruption that that causes, not just for
yourselves but for us, we’ve got other things we should be getting
on with…but.
Abu Abdullah: With respect..
Barry: But we have spent
16 months allowing you to have your protest…
Abu Abdullah: Allah allowed
us, with respect…
Barry: Well we’ve
spent 16 months without intervening to stop the protest which we could
have done 16 months ago. There has to come a time when things have to
be reviewed…and a decision taken as to whether we carry on as
we were, or things change. That’s all I’m saying.
Barry: On a Friday for the
last sixteen months we’ve had about a dozen, perhaps 16 police
officers here who are local officers who would be on duty in this area
anyway. Today there’s a lot more officers because unfortunately
for the last few weeks..erm…some right wing so called radical
groups have come to protest in opposition to whats going on here, so
I think there’s about 20 young lads round the corner there who
intend to come round here and make their opposition to these prayers
known.
Its certainly got nothing to do with our need to stop
this situation going on. If we are going to stop these prayers taking
place outside the mosque here then we’re going to do it by negotiation.
Not, I would hope, by confrontation.
He’s known to me as Mr. Abdul Abdullah. Abdul Abdullah.
Journalist: A-b-d-u-l- a-b-d-u-l-l-a-h
is that right?
Barry: I’ve never
asked him to spell it.
Journalist2: What have you
been talking about for the previous 16 months?
Barry: How we can make sure
that we don’t cause to much disruption, how we can close the road
for a short space of time, how we can make sure that the press behave
themselves, which is always a challenge, how we can make sure that any
oppositions to the prayers is contained in a peaceful way, how we can
make sure that people that live here can walk by without being disrupted.
That’s what we’ve talked about for 16 months, now is the
time to talk about how we can actually return the community back to
how it was before the mosque was searched.
Abu Abdullah: …was
persecuted for that, as the prophet Jesus was persecuted for that. As
the prophet Mohamed sal alla sul u wala was persecuted for that.
Bones: I can’t reach
from behind the barrier. Can I go behind that barrier?
Policeman: You have to go
behind the barrier. All the press back behind the barrier.
Bones: Jesus.
Abdullah: …So you
can continue to oppress the Muslim lands and implement your democracy
and torture, unjustified
Poiliceman: You’ve
got to go back that way please. Back behind the barrier. That way. Hello?
Hello? You need to go back behind the barrier. All the press behind
the barrier please…keep going…keep going…
Abu Abdullah: Brothers and
sisters in Islam. It is the intention of the Police and the government
to remove us from worshiping outside this mosque. The mosque that’s
been violated. Our sheik that’s been violated. All the Muslims
that have been violated.. ba sa lalla lal sa lah. You! The kaffir council
of Britain (MCB) have no say in
Allah’s religion…
UBA: Rule Brittania, Brittania
rules the waves! Britain’s never, never, never shall be slaves!
U! U! UBA! Etc…You wot?… Hamza’s gonna fry!…
Whats it like to wear a dress?…If you all hate terrorists clap
your hands…Out! Out! Out!…You’re just a burden on
society…What you watching us for? (To police photographer)
Bookseller: Cos once they
arrest Abu Hamza and lock him up it’ll be your turn next. It’s
the new world order isn’t it?
UBA Sympathiser: The National
health system is absolutely terrible, because people come over here
poncing. Yes or No? Is that why the National Health is in crisis?
Bookseller: It’s a
small percentage of the tax-payers budget. Most of that money is going
to Israel. Do you understand that?
UBA Sympathiser: That’s
bullshit.
UBA Sympathiser2: Most of
that moneys going to Israel? How can you say that?
UBA Sympathiser: Lets find
out then…
UBA Sympathiser2: What does
this country get…
Bookseller: Who’s
it in debt to?
UBA Sympathiser: So why
do people come over here and not put nothing back in then? If you takes
things out you got to put back in..
UBA Sympathiser2: What does
this country get?
UBA Sympathiser: That’s
whats the matter with this country…British….but put your
money back in where it comes from. You can’t ponce all the time.
UBA Sympathiser2: You’ve
just blocked off this road. Everybody’s just blocked off this
whole complete road. How much is it costing the old bill…
UBA Sympathiser: We’re
having a conversation!
Bones: Hold him…hold
him etc..
(Non-existant skirmish)
Abdullah: Take you’re
hand off me copper cos it’ll be on your head if it kicks off round
here…Keep your hands to yourself copper…
Policeman: These lot over
here…you lot over there…don’t tell me what to do mate…you
go over there…Disappear…
Bones: Nice one guys. You’re
alright…nice one.
Abdullah: Come back brothers.
Don’t kick it off brothers cos that’s what they want and
then we stop it. They’ll be bloodshed here and it’ll be
by them idiots and this copper here. Be it on his head. Now come back.
Come out of there yeah? No ruckin'.
Bystander: It ties into
the environment as well. That’s the issue that always gets overlooked
is the environment. What damage man is doing to the environment. Man
in general is doing damage…
Bookseller: We consider
ourselves to be
Bystander: I mean look at
America. America is 2 percent, 2-3 percent of the world population and
yet they use over half of the worlds resources. You know? The issues
that should be in the news are those kind of issues...What gets overshadowed
all the time is what man as a whole. We are all the same. All made of
the same stuff…blood and bones and tissue and stuff…and
its our influence on the planet that we should be…
Bookseller: We consider
ourselves to be the friends of the earth. We are pro-environmental issues.
Bystander: So why do we
get caught up in these other issues?
Bookseller: Because the
media portrays us as terrorists and we’re not. These people don’t
even know because they’re reading the Sun and they believe what
the Sun tells them. They say Abu Hamza’s a terrorist but what
do they know?
Bystander: That’s
the media. It’s all down to the media…
Bookseller: Yeah
Bystander: You need to look
at the media and not look at these people cos they’ve got a point
of view whether its right or wrong…
Bookseller: Listen…I
can debate with them…Its no problem…It all got excited over
nothing as far as I’m concerned…
Bystander: Everybody’s
entitled to their opinion aren’t they, but you know, we should
perhaps be looking at other aspects rather than just, you know, what
the media want us to look into but, anyway I’ve got work to do…
Bones: Thank you! Thanks
for coming!
Bones: That was pretty good no?
These two have been here all the time as well.
Patrick Holland (IWC Media): Which
ones?
Bones: This Irish lady
Patrick: Really?
Bones: Yeah, she thinks
Abu Hamza should be in prison but she’s also shooken his hook
and said what a nice guy he is…its just really funny like…
Patrick: Shitballs. We should
have made the film ages ago don’t you think? It should have been,
each week we come down here with Dave…Given him a better camera..
Bones: What’s that?
Patrick: I was just thinking
that its great, I wish I had come down here weeks ago.
Bones: I know! If I’d
have brought you down here before Hamza was arrested and introduced
you it would have been like… You know what I mean? Different story…
Bones: (To Policeman) Can
we come in now?
Bones: How you doing, alright?
Mary: I saw you this morning
but I couldn’t think of your name.
Barry: You haven’t got to come to
me, I can come to you if that is easiest. We do need to talk about it.
So you’ll contact me will you?…One day this week…We’d
like to meet again if we could?…Alright, we’ll let you get
on and do what you got to do…
Bones: Mr. Abdullah, how
do you feel about the policing over the last 16 months?
Abdullah: they’ve
done their job haven’t they? I mean, the Police are the Police,
they’ve done their job err…we’ve got no quarrels with
the Police but when he’s going to man-handle me like that I’m
the wrong person to do it to. He knows that I’m security here
and the way I look at it they’re trying to break us up and now
they’re targeting the other main heads of the brotherhood here
to remove us, but its going to be very difficult to remove people like
me because when you have faith, you only fear Allah.
Bones: How did you feel
when you heard Mr. Hamza was arrested?
Abdullah: You need to come
down to the embassy and you’ll get some answers there…
Bones: And….
Mystery Mask: That’s
it.
Dumplings: Embassy…You
know that, come on, no more questions. You got a question for me? I
got a question for you.
Bones: No, no, how you feel
about…
Dumplings: What’s
you’re favorite meat?…(come on)…What’s your
favorite meat?
Bones: Erm…err…bacon.
Dumplings: Bacon.
Bones: That’s anti-Islamic
isn’t it?
Dumplings: The picture of
the bacon or the picture of the pig?
Bones: I don’t know,
I try and be…ideologically I’m a vegetarian.
Dumplings: You eat pig right?
You eat pork? You eat pork?
Abdullah: Bruv…lets
go….
Bones: Mr. Abdullah, can
I just introduce you quickly to err…
Patrick: Mr. Abdullah, is
anything being done, in terms of the campaign for Abu Hamza, what are
you doing in terms of trying to get.
Abdullah: I’m not
going to respond to anything. Come down to the US Embassy you’ll
get some more information from us there and you’ll see…
Bones: But, But
Patrick: Because what we
are interested in doing is making a film about your campaign.
Abdullah: Then come over
there and you’ll get a lot more understanding there and obviously…we’ve
got some pictures to show you as well.
Patrick: In terms of his…Abu
Hamza’s human rights.
Abdullah: You’re asking
me and I’m telling you respectfully, if you come there...I know
that you’ve probably come a long way, you’ve just got to
travel a bit more and then you’ll get your story.
Patrick: Thank you.
Abdullah: Brothers lets
start making our way. If theres a brother who can advice brothers which
is the best possible way to meet at the embassy or give directions from
any train station please brothers do that and then disperse.
